I have a wonderful guinea pig named Katty. She is the best pet you could ever ask for. She is very playful, and I always have so much fun playing with her. She is so fast I have trouble caching her. Katty is brown and white with red eyes. I would give up everything to save my little Katty. Katty has a sister and her name is Snow White. Snow White is Sacha’s guinea pig. I couldn't imagine my life without Katty, I love her so much.

Polly is a nice and friendly long-haired miniature dachshund. She has nice luxurious hair that covers her whole body. She LOVES pats and hugs. But when we say the word “bath” she runs! She hates taking a bath. Maybe because she doesn’t like water? She also likes seeing new people, especially when they pat her. One of main hobbies is, finding possums! One night she stayed outside barking at a possum until Dad had to go and get her. The main reason why I love her is because she makes our family smile.

Teddy Bear Walk

Once upon a time there was a teddy bear who was very bored, he wondered what it would be like in the real world. His parents had told him that it was a cruel and awful world. But he didn’t believe it .

One night he snuck out of his bedroom window and ran to a nearby village and saw humans, he thought they were very cool. But then he saw a girl walking past with a teddy bear in her bag, he could hear the teddy bear saying “RUN RUN”. But he decided not to run. He walked closer to a little boy. All of a sudden the little boy grabbed the teddy bear by the hand and threw him into a wishing well.

ANZAC Teddy Bear

I watch as my owner's hand creeps closer and closer...I'm getting picked up. I never usually get picked, it’s always some other cuddly toy, that was newer than me - but not this time.
I start to wonder why she is picking me up. She is making her way down the hallway and we take a right into the living room. We get closer and closer to the window and I get carefully placed down with other teddy bears.
I am just sitting there but then I soon see little kids with their mums or dads walking past and point at me.
"Why are they pointing at me?", I said to the others.
No response.
I could get used to this I thought to myself.
It’s great getting noticed by so many kids and seeing the smiles on their faces. I think about how I am helping the community because I am bringing joy into this sad time.

Tractor Ted

Tractor Ted loved tractors but not just any tractors, John Deere tractors, he is a big fan of them. Ted has got a John Deere hat and a John Deere t-shirt and a John Deere toy tractor. His owner is a big fan of them too, he has three John Deere hats, three t-shirts and three toy tractors. His Dad is a big fan of them as well he has six hats, six t-shirts and six real tractors!

Then one day Ted’s owner got asked to drive a real tractor by his Dad. Ted's owner was so excited he could not wait. His Dad showed him around the tractor, and they were off to cultivate the paddock. Ted got to have a ride in the real John Deere tractor.

We finished cultivating the paddock and we were on the headlands and we were driving along the fence and then the discs hit a post.

Teds owner called his Dad and his Dad said “I will be there”.

Teds owners Dad was there right away, he had a look and it was fine. Ted wants another ride in the tractor.

Bear's Adventure Down the River

Bear had a walk down the river. He saw a lot of things like trees, rabbits, water, and other things. The river was ten kilometers long but luckily, he brought snacks. he did not rest, he needed to keep going. He stood strong and did not stop.

He walked through river, under trees and had the best adventure he ever had. He didn’t know he was going to walk for that long, but it didn’t bother the bear.

When he got into town where his house is, he realised he wanted to do another walk tomorrow.

My Pet Dog Roxy

Roxy is a Jack Russell Terrier. She loves going on walks and runs around the farm. Roxy is a talented little dog who can do heaps of little tricks. She loves lying in on the carpet on a sunny afternoon. Roxy also loves exploring. She runs around out in the paddocks in front of our house. Roxy can also get a little bit of trouble some times, like one time when we went into town we came home and she had gotten into the rubbish! Overall Roxy is an amazing pet I wouldn't trade her for 1 million dollars! I love Roxy. By Issy

Tornado

Life is tough as a cat. The foods horrible, the weather's harsh and many animals hate you. Cats don't have it all but they survive..... although none survive more then my cat. My cat's Tornado, she has been through both good and bad times. She is a fierce black cat with a hunting instinct but a big heart. Any other cat would scratch you whenever you come near, not my cat instead she cuddles up and gives you some good vibes. She is now 6 years old..... 40! years in cat years . She has an ignorant older sister called Mittens but her mother ran away when she was just a kitten so Mittens is her only real family. Tornado has accurate green eyes and strong ears . Tor has battled through some though times but as she is only being 6 many are yet to come.
