'Katy' by Jacqueline Wilson

Katy is brilliant at inventing imaginary games with her brothers and sisters but she’s also a daredevil. She loves skateboarding, tree-climbing and being the centre of attention. She knows that whatever happens she will be in charge and its her job to control the littlies Phil, Jonnie, Dory, and  Elsie,. Though she must sound like an angel, Katy isn’t exactly what you’d expect from a girl of 11. She is hopelessly untidy, always spilling stuff and tearing her jeans and her hair always struggles lose whenever its tied up. Though she is clumsy and unfortunate she never seems to care about what people say or whisper about her. Katy seems cool enough but she does have one flaw, her mother passed away when she and Clover were only young. And now she spends the majority of her alone time fantasizing about her.

This is my favorite part about the book Katy because it really opens me up to Katy and shows me what she has to deal about during her harsh change. I really like Katy cause she is a lot like me; fiesty, underestimated and quite uncooperitive .This chapter shows a lot about how good she is with the littlies. And how much she does care.....And that’s why it's such a good book....Jacqueline Wilson's KATY!!
